New Delhi, April. 24: India cricket team head coach and former BJP MP Gautam Gambhir has received life threats. Police sources said that Gambhir has received life threats in e-mails.
Gambhir has received two threat e-mails. Sources said that a complaint has been received in this regard at the Rajinder Nagar police station. The police informed that they have started an investigation into the matter.
The threats were reportedly received through a suspicious Gmail account on April 22, the day when terrorists shot dead 26 people, mostly tourists, in Pahallam, Kashmir.
This is not the first time that Gambhir has been threatened. In 2022, he received similar threats, which prompted the authorities to tighten his security measures.
