Mangaluru, Oct 7: The countdown to the Niveus Mangalore Marathon 2025 to be held on November 9 at Mangala Stadium, intensified today with the grand unveiling of the event's Participant T-shirt and Finisher’s Medal by Sudheer Kumar Reddy, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Mangaluru, alongside K. Ravi Shankar, DCP (Crime and Traffic).

Speaking at the ceremony, the Police Commissioner said, “I would like to thank Mangalore Runners Club for making me a part of the Niveus Mangalore Marathon 2025. The Pili themed medal has come out beautifully, I will also take part in the marathon and earn this medal. I wish the organisers all the very best”, underscoring his commitment to promoting fitness and community wellness.

The Participant T-shirt makes a bold statement in vivid red and yellow—the colours synonymous with the coastal region’s warmth and vitality. Crafted from high-performance, moisture-wicking fabric, it is designed to ensure comfort and style while reflecting the pride of Mangaluru. The T-shirt features the logos of Niveus Solutions (Title Sponsor) and Tshirt sponsors including Kasharp Fitness, Grahini Masalas , Hangyo Icecreams, and KMC Hospital (Medical Partner).

The NMM 2025 Finisher’s Medal is a work of art that celebrates the cultural heritage of Mangaluru. Featuring intricately engraved artwork inspired by the marathon’s theme ‘Pili’—the traditional tiger dance of coastal Karnataka—the medal embodies the energy, courage, and vibrant spirit of the region. Conceptualised and designed by Surendra Bhakta, a talented artist and MRC member, the medal will serve as a cherished memento for every finisher. It is proudly sponsored by S.L Shet Jewellers, K.S. About Niveus Mangalore Marathon 2025

Scheduled for November 9, 2025, at Mangala Stadium, Mangaluru, the Niveus Mangalore Marathon is an annual event organised by the Mangalore Runners Club. Now in its 4th edition, it is the largest running event in the region and the only marathon in the district with an AIMS-certified race course (Association of International Marathons and Distance Races).

This year’s edition is expected to attract over 6,000 participants, including elite athletes from across India, competing across multiple race categories—from the 42.2 km Full Marathon to the 2 km Gammath Run—making it a celebration for all.
