Along with the phone, losing the SIM is also a big problem. If someone else gets the lost SIM card, it can be misused. The SIM is linked to your bank account, Aadhaar Card, UPI payment app and many other things. The OTP comes only to your mobile number to make online payments. This is the reason why people worry when the SIM card is lost.

What to do if the SIM is damaged?
If your SIM is lost or damaged, you can get it replaced. To replace your SIM card, you must have an Aadhaar card. If you do not have an Aadhaar card, you will have to visit the nearest Jio Shop along with any other valid proof of identity (POI). You will have to pay a fee of Rs 50 to replace the SIM. Keep in mind that your Jio number must have an active recharge plan while replacing the SIM. SMS services will not be available for 24 hours after completing the SIM replacement process.
You can suspend the SIM by visiting the website. For this, you can visit the official website of the organization to stop or resume the service on which number of your organization you are using. For this, you need to go to the “SIM Lost Login” page.
First, go to the official website. After that, the support option will appear at the top of the homepage. It will be the first option from the right. Click on it. By doing this, you will reach a new page. You need to scroll down. Then click on Lost SIM.
Then you need to enter your number and click on the “Continue” button. After this, go ahead and submit your request. This can also be done by calling. If you don't want to go to the official website and follow the steps mentioned above, you can suspend the SIM by calling 1800-889-9999.
