Protest at Shimogga Opposing Anti Conversion Bill and Survey of the Christian Churches by the Government of Karnataka

Shimogga: The intended Anti Conversion Bill as well as the Survey of the Christian Churches by the Government of Karnataka was opposed by the Christians of Shimoga, today, Friday 19.11.2021. Most Rev Dr Francis Serrao, Bishop of Shimoga, Most Rev Dr Joseph Arumachadath, Bishop of Bhadravathi, Pastor Yesudass, President of Pastors Association, Reverend Pastors of Catholic, CSI and various other Churches, Reverend Sisters and a large number of Christian faithful were present. A memorandum was submitted to the Honourable Chef Minister of Karnataka through the Deputy Commissioner at 10.55am.

This protest was organised by the Karnataka United Christian Forum for Human Rights. The local convenor Rev Fr Jerome Moras had made all the necessary arrangements.
