Mangalore: The spirit of patriotism and freedom resonated within Sandesha Foundation as the nation observed its 77th Independence Day. Roy Castelino, a trustee of Sandesha Foundation and PRO of Mangalore Diocese, proudly hoisted the tricolor flag, symbolizing our nation's unity and pride.
The event featured an insightful address by Sunil Kumar Bajal, a Social Activist and Secretary of Saint Mother Teresa Vichara Vedike. He reminded everyone of the enduring contributions and sacrifices of our ancestors in securing India's freedom—a nation characterized by peaceful diversity. He lamented the attempts by certain corporate communalists to undermine our democratic values and constitution, emphasizing the need to uphold democracy and protect our constitutional values. He urged the citizens to stand united for the country's progress.
