Nelamangala, May 13:  Oil worth more than Rs. 30 crore has been gutted in a major fire at an oil warehouse.

A fire broke out at the Shell Company's oil warehouse near Adakamaranahalli under Madanayakanahalli police station limits at around 3 am today. As soon as the news came to light, more than 12 fire engines from Nelamangala, Peenya and Yeshwantpur along with 80 fire personnel including officers arrived and were continuously trying to douse the fire. It was seen that the flames were increasing every moment.

Fortunately, there was no loss of life. The initial investigation by the police revealed that the fire in the warehouse started due to a short circuit.
