California: The Axiom-4 space mission has successfully completed its stay at the International Space Station (ISS) and returned to Earth. SpaceX's Dragon capsule carrying the Axiom-4 crew, led by Indian astronaut Group Captain Shubanshu Shukla, has successfully landed on the coast of San Diego, California, USA.
After exactly 43 years, an Indian astronaut has not only reached space, but also achieved the feat of becoming the first Indian to reach the International Space Station. Shubanshu Shukla's achievement has made a significant contribution to the growth of India's space sector.
Shubanshu Shukla, who visited the space laboratory worth 150 billion US dollars, had carried out several scientific researches on the ISS. India has spent 70 million US dollars on Shubanshu Shukla's space journey.
The Axiom-4 crew, who have covered 12.2 million kilometers during their mission, have spent about 433 hours orbiting the Earth. After orbiting the Earth a total of 288 times in 18 days, the Axiom Mission 4 crew has officially returned home.
