Mangalore:  In a significant stride toward wildlife conservation, Adavi Alert Foundation and St. Aloysius (Deemed to be University) have collaboratively handed over high-quality Revolt EV bikes to boost patrolling efforts in Karnataka’s Bandipur Tiger Reserve. These eco-friendly bikes, exceptionally built for durability, aim to enhance patrol efficiency and reduce carbon emissions, supporting sustainable forest protection along critical corridors of Tamil Nadu and Kerala.

The handover event was attended by several eminent officials, including S. Prabhakaran, Deputy Conservator of Forests and Director of Bandipur Tiger Reserve; Harini V., AIGF with the NTCA; and NP Naveen Kumar, Assistant Conservator of Forests for Bandipur. Registrars from St. Aloysius (Deemed to be University), Dr. Ronald Nazareth and Dr. Alwyn D’Sa, were present, along with Dr. Denis Fernandes, Director, and Kiran Vati K, Assistant Professor in the Department of Zoology. Additionally, representatives from Revolt Motors joined to celebrate their sponsorship of an extra bike for the initiative. Vishal R. Bharadwaj, owner of In My Head Productions, was also in attendance, officially curating the event video.

Pavan Joshi, Founder of Adavi Alert Foundation, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Rev. Dr. Praveen Martis SJ, the Vice Chancellor of St. Aloysius (Deemed to be University), for his unwavering support and innovative sustainability initiatives. “Without his guidance and dedication, this initiative would not have been possible. These EV bikes represent a proactive approach to forest protection, ensuring greater safety for both personnel and wildlife while reducing our carbon footprint,” Joshi noted.

The collaborative efforts will be enhanced and diversified in the coming times.
