Mangalore, Nov 5:  A grand celebration was held at Kalpana Maidan to honor the sports achievements of the Sacred Hearts Higher Primary English Medium School. The school’s netball team secured second place in the state-level netball tournament, earning a spot in the national competition. The local corporator, Kishore Kottary, presided as the chief guest, delivering motivational words and honoring the students and their sports coaches,  Margaret and Kaushal, with garlands and shawls as a mark of respect and appreciation.

After a vibrant procession to the school auditorium, the athletes were celebrated in the presence of teachers, students, and parents. The school’s director, Sister Juliana Monis B.S., formally recognized and honored the athletes. Arun Santosh, vice-president of the school’s Parent-Teacher Association, and other members attended the event. The program was anchored by teacher Sylvia Lobo, and Sister Anita Nathalia, the school’s headmistress, expressed gratitude and delivered the opening address.
