Mangaluru, March 20: The State Committee meeting of the Unaided Pre-University College Managements Association (KUPMA) was held recently at Shakti PU College in Shaktinagar, under the leadership of Honorary President Dr. K.C. Naik, President Dr. Mohan Alva, and General Secretary Shri Narendra Nayak. The meeting discussed the one-day KUPMA District Committee coordinators’ workshop to be held on March 25 at Alvas College, Moodbidri. It was decided that approximately 75 coordinators from various districts of the state would participate in the event.
A one-day workshop will be held on March 25, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Alvas College, Moodbidri, to discuss measures to expand KUPMA in their respective districts. Dr. Mohan Alva suggested that accommodation and meals for the participating district coordinators will be arranged at Alvas College.

The objective of this workshop is to form district-level KUPMA committees and recruit new members for the KUPMA State Committee by the end of June, with a structure that includes Honorary Presidents (1), Presidents (1), Vice-Presidents (4), General Secretaries (1), Assistant General Secretaries (2), and Treasurer (1).
It was resolved that all members of the KUPMA State Committee, along with district coordinators from across the state, must attend the workshop at Alvas College, Moodbidri.
The meeting was attended by several prominent figures, including KUPMA's Honorary President and Founder of Shakthi PU College, Dr. K.C.
