Khammam : It has been two decades since the tragic death of famous actress Soundarya in a plane crash. However, a new complaint has now been filed with the police in Andhra Pradesh's Khammam district, alleging that her death was not an accident, but rather a result of a property dispute with veteran Telugu actor Mohan Babu.

The complainant, Chittimallu, who lodged the complaint with the police, claims that actor Mohan Babu had been pressuring Soundarya and her brother to sell a six-acre plot of land in a village in Shamshabad. According to the complaint, Soundarya and her brother refused to sell the land, leading to a strained relationship between Soundarya and Mohan Babu. The complainant further alleges that after Soundarya’s death, Mohan Babu forcibly took possession of the land.

However, as of now, no FIR has been registered in connection with the complaint. Additionally, the complainant has not provided any details about the nature of the relationship between Soundarya and Mohan Babu.

Actress Soundarya, who became a household name across India through the Kannada film Aptamitra and the Bollywood film Suryavamsham with Amitabh Bachchan, tragically died in a plane crash on April 17, 2004, while traveling in a private jet to attend a political event in Karimnagar.
