Udupi: In order to control the atrocities on Dalit women, the solution is to get political power will be the only way for lower caste people. Hence, there should be a need to improve the political knowhow and make it strong politically, said R Baskar Prasad, activist.

Around 85% of the population of the country are dalits, backward communities, minorities without the power are servants of 3% of top communities. As a result of this, the dalits, backward communities are facing atrocities in different ways in the country, he said.
Bhaskar said that each day, there has been 16 rape cases reporting in Uttar Pradesh alone.
