Udupi: People who are arrived from foreign countries and other states in udupi District and people who were in contact with the COVID positive patients are made home quarantine for 14 days.
It's been noticed that people home quarantined by the administrations are violating it and coming out of their house. This has resulted in the decline in control of COVID
To keep an eye on these violators, Quarantine Watch App is used . In this App the information is available of the person who violates the home quarantine rules.
FIR has been lodged against a total of 69 people who have violated repatriation, despite the fact that authorities have already visited their home and warned them not to walk outside.
People who are in Home Quarantine and Home Isolation has been warned not to walk outside in violation of Home Quarantine. In case of violation, strict action will be taken to file a case against such person. Udupi Deputy Commissioner J. Jagadeesh has said in his circular.
