Udupi: Tuesday July 28, 2020 a total of 109 fresh Covid positive cases have been reported. Now the district total is 3,722.
According to officials, a total of 2,239 people have been discharged and 1,461 are undergoing the treatment in various hospitals and some are in home isolation.39 with symptom of SARI, ILI and Covid suspects have been admitted to isolation wards. Total deaths in the district are 22 so far.
Dakshina Kannada: Tuesday July 28 covid cases have crossed 5000- mark, with 173 people testing positive. 5,103 have risen to positive cases in district.
According to officials, of the 173 cases, 21 are the primary contacts persons of infected persons, 91 have symptom of influenza like illness and 22 have symptom of severe acute respiratory infection.
38 infected persons in underway. A person with international travel history has also tested positive. 2,632 persons are undergoing treatment at hospital and in home isolation.
A total of 35,081 samples have been tested so far in DK. On a positive note, 41 persons have recovered and discharged from hospital, by taking the tally of discharge to 2,338.
