Udupi : The plan to upgrade the Udupi District Hospital to a 250 bed hospital will be approved by the state cabinet meeting to be held on October 22, said K Raghupathy Bhat, Udupi MLA.
As per the promise given by the chief minister prior to the election, the Finance Department has been agreed for the project, Raghupathy Bhat said. The project includes the Rs. 115 crore worth cost of new building, enough hospital staff for the 250 beds and various materials, furniture etc.
