Former Jharkhand CM Champai Soren’s grandson found dead in Manali hotel

Ranchi, Feb 26: Veer Soren, grandson of former Jharkhand Chief Minister Champai Soren and son of Babulal Soren, was found dead in a Manali hotel.

Veer Soren (19), who was studying outside the state, had recently gone on a trip with his friends. During this time, he stayed at a hotel in Simsa.

He had visited the Solang Valley and Sethan village near Hamta Pass. After returning to the hotel that evening, Veer was reported to be unwell.

After returning from the trip, Veer had developed a severe headache. His friends had given him medicine. He then fell asleep to rest. Around 2:30 pm, a loud noise was heard in the room. When his friends went to see what had happened, he was lying in bed,” sources said.

His health deteriorated late at night in the hotel, and when his condition worsened, his friends immediately took him to the Civil Hospital in Manali.

“On the way to the hospital, he was found foaming at the mouth. At the hospital, the doctors performed CPR for a long time. But they could not revive him and declared him dead,” said sources close to Soren’s family.

“Veer’s demise has shattered our family,” Soren posted on social media.
