Hosakot, Feb 13: A series of serious accidents took place on the Hosakot-Dabaspet National Highway. In this terrible tragedy, a total of 7 people, including six college students and a biker in an XUV car, died on the spot.



It crashed at high speed
The XUV car (KA 03 NW 0138) that was rushing at high speed first hit a bike moving in front, then crossed the divider and collided head-on with a canter coming from the opposite direction.
Torn airbags
The severity of the collision was such that all the airbags in the car were deployed. However, due to the high speed and the force of the collision, the airbags also exploded and could not save lives.
Biker Gagan dies
26-year-old Gagan, who was returning home after work, was killed in an accident. He was the only support for his visually impaired mother. It is said that he worked in Safal.
Tragic end of students
Among the deceased in the car, Ashwin Nair (17) was a student of R.V. PU College in Yelahanka, and the other five are suspected to be students of the same college. The remaining students have been identified as Arhan, Ayan Ali and Bharat, while the identity of the remaining two is yet to be ascertained.
Journey without informing the family
The deceased Ashwin Nair had gone out in a car with friends without informing the family. The gruesome truth came to light when the mother, who thought that her son was sleeping at home, called the police.
Result of the series collision
The Canter overturned after the XUV collided with another Brezza car that was coming on the road. The entire highway was like a battlefield. The two rear wheels of the canter were separated from the canter.
Senior officials visit
Central Zone IGP Laburam and SP Chandrakanth visited the scene and the Hosakot morgue and inspected it.
Families in mourning
The bodies have been kept at the Hosakot Government Hospital, and the families who lost their children in the early hours of the morning have reached their peak of grief.
