Chikkamagaluru, Feb. 10: A small plane that suddenly appeared among the mountain peaks of Malnad today has caused great anxiety and curiosity throughout the district. This plane, which flew at a very low level from Kalasa to Balehonnur, has disturbed the sleep of the people of Malnad.
‘Low-flying’ flight in the Bhadra river basin
This light plane has flown twice in the areas around the Bhadra river in Kalasa and N.R.Pura taluks of Chikkamagaluru district. Usually planes fly at high altitudes, but the main reason for the anxiety of the people is that this small plane flew very close to the ground, as if flying very low.
Whose plane is this? No one has any information!
Where did this mysterious plane come from? Who was inside it? And what was its purpose is the burning question at the moment. The fact that neither the local police department nor the forest department had any prior information about this has increased the seriousness of the situation. The fact that the flight was carried out without informing the authorities has given rise to dozens of suspicions.
Locals have captured the footage of the plane flying very low in Balehonnur on their mobile phones. It is learnt that the plane, which circled the Malnad twice, then headed towards the Shivamogga area. It is not yet clear whether this was a funeral procession of the rich or a secret survey by some government department.
Khaki forces in search of background
The Chikkamagaluru police, alerted to the mysterious flight, have spread a net to trace the background of the plane. They are contacting the airport authorities and checking whether permission was given for this flight.
