Smartphone sales in India fall: 4 phones to be released this week

Bengaluru April 01: According to a report by market research firm Counterpoint, there has been a decline in smartphone sales in India in the first nine weeks of 2026. Sales have decreased by 9 percent compared to the previous year. The main reason for the decline in phone sales is said to be the rise in memory component prices.

Due to the rise in memory prices, Android smartphone manufacturers like Vivo and Oppo have increased the prices of their existing models. However, the launch program of the phones is a big one.
