Qatar: North Star International Kindergarten commemorated the 77th Republic Day of India with great éclat. The celebration was held with immense zeal and patriotic spirit. The Chief Guest of the day was Subramanya Hebbagalu, DTM, Former Vice-President of the Indian Cultural Centre. The Guests of Honour included Abdul Basheer Thuvarikkal, Secretary of the Indian Sports Centre under the aegis of the Embassy of India in Qatar, Akbar, Director of North Star Educational Venture, and Zeenathun Nisha Sathar, the Principal of North Star International Kindergarten.
The celebration began with the unfurling of the National Flag by the honourable Chief Guest, along with the dignitaries and the Principal. Everyone saluted the Tricolour and pledged to uphold the honour and integrity of the nation, followed by the singing of the National Anthem. The Chief Guest delivered an inspirational speech, and the other dignitaries shared their thoughts and experiences on the significance of Republic Day. The Principal addressed the gathering with a motivational speech, encouraging young minds to embrace victory, develop a winning spirit, and nurture curiosity for a brighter future.
Following the unfurling ceremony, the students presented a spectacular cultural programme featuring patriotic songs, dances, and speeches. The celebration concluded with the singing of the National Anthem, after which sweets were distributed. The students dispersed with the image of the fluttering Tricolour in their hearts.
