Belthangady: Holy Redeemer English Medium School proudly marked the Graduation ceremony of Kindergarten students on March 7th in the school auditorium.
The day also marked the inaugural ceremony of the Renovated Kindergarten School, Indoor Kid’s Play Zone and Kreedo Activity Lab.
Rev. Dr. Fr. Leo Praveen Lasrado, Secretary of the Catholic Board of Education, Manglore Diocese and Advocate Murali Balipa, President, Lion’s Club, Belthangady were the chief guests.
Correspondent V. Rev. Fr. Walter DMello, Headmaster Rev. Fr. Clifford Simon Pinto, PTA Vice President Richard Sequeira, Church School Headmistress Renny Vas, Parish Pastoral Council Vice President Walter Monis and Secretary Gilbert Pinto and Parish Commissions Coordinator Thomas Pinto were the guests of honour. The guests’ list included the School Management Committee Members, Church Ward leaders, Parents and Parishners.
The dignitaries were welcomed into the school by the School Pupil Leader Ashel D’Souza, escorted by the school band led by Aadlin Pereira. The event solemnly began by seeking god’s blessings through a prayer session led by Rev. Dr. Fr. Leo Lasrado.
Followed by it was the inauguration of Renovated Kindergarten School by the Correspondent V. Rev. Fr. Walter D’Mello, Indoor Kid’s Play Zone by Murali Balipa and Kreedo Activity Lab by Rev. Dr. Fr. Leo Lasrado.
After refreshments, on this memorable occasion, saplings were planted by the dignitaries in the school campus, with a message of nurturing young minds to a bright future.
The invitees were further led towards the auditorium for Kindergarten Graduation Ceremony.
The event began with a graceful welcome dance by the high primary students. LKG students, Adithri, Herlin, Rishon, Jechelle, Riszna, Tameem, Raylon, Shahida, Austin, Aiman, Niha and Izna, sweetly welcomed the gathering with their sweet words of welcome.
The program was formally inaugurated by the dignitaries by lightning the lamp.
The headmaster in his inaugural speech mentioned the aim of improving the learning environment in the school.
The little graduates of Kindergarten were presented with a medal and graduation certificates, to emphasize the finishing of their first stage of school. The children wonderfully presented a thanksgiving dance expressing their gratitude. LKG students entertained the audience with their beautiful dance moves.
Students demonstrated the Kreedo Activities under the guidance of Teacher Jonita Koreya.
Chief guest Murali Balipa in his address gave an insight on how valued is the student teacher relation.
Chief guest Rev Dr Fr Leo Lasrado appreciated the development and enthusiasm of the school.
Correspondent in his presidential remarks highlighted that children need to be well moulded to be better persons in future.
UKG students Jisha, Karunya, Rashidha, Aadish, Melreen, Arvi, Priston, Madhvi, Viha and Shazna wholeheartedly expressed gratitude to all those who made the event a successful one.
The Correspondent felicitated the individuals who initiated the renovation project.
Kindergarten Teachers Shanthi Pereira, Akhida Banu and Jesvita coordinated the event. Teacher Renita Lasrado compered the program and all staff members contributed skilfully towards the success of the event. The event gracefully concluded with the school anthem.
