Mumbai, Jan 28: Maharashtra DCM(Deputy Chief Minister) Die in Plane Crash. Ajith Pawar DCM of Maharashtra and NCP President along with 5 others die in the Plane crash in Baramati. The incident took place today morning 28 January, 2026.
As per Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) reports the death of Ajith Pawar and co-passengers is confirmed.
During travelling to Baramati for election campaigning, the charter which was carrying DCM and other 5 passengers around 8.45am it was supposed to land. Due to technical issue during the landing flight catches fire which led to the death of passengers.
