Mumbai: After Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan tests positive for corona now 2 more tests positive from bachchan family.
Bollywood actor Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her daughter Aradhya Bachchan have also tested positive for COVID-19, Maharashtra health minister Rajesh Tope confirmed on Sunday.
Jaya Bachchan has tested negative for the virus.
Previously as on saturday the Bachchan Family members and staff underwent COVID-19 test. On saturday evening the result tested positive for Big B and Abhishek Bachchan. The other family members results were on wait. Now on Sunday it has been confirmed by Maharashtra health minister Rajesh Tope that Aishwarya Rai Bacchan & Daughter Aaradhya Abhishek Bacchan tests positive for virus.
"Smt. Aishwarya Rai Bacchan & Daughter Aaradhya Abhishek Bacchan have also been detected positive for Covid19. Smt. Jaya Bachhan ji is tested negative for covid19. We wish the Bacchan Family to get well soon with a speedy recovery," Tope said.
The Bachchan family had undergone COVID-19 tests after Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan tested positive for the virus on Saturday and Big B and Abhishek Bachchan inform about their corona positive through tweet.
Amitabh and Abhishek immediately admitted to Mumbai's Nanavati Super Specialty Hospital.
It is said Amitabh Bachchan is stable with mild symptoms and he has been kept at the hospital's isolation unit.
