Mangaluru June 22: As per June 20, 2021 order from Mangaluru DC lockdown was extended to July 5th with some relaxation in purchase time of essentials from 7am to 1pm. But with this all shops other than essentials were ordered to keep close till July 5.
After the protest by some shop owners yesterday demanding the order to open the shops, DK district incharge and Minister Kota Srinivas Poojary after discussing with Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa said, the shops in Dakshina Kannanda will be allowed to open from Tomorrow June 23 from Morning 6am to 2pm.
He also requested to take vaccine and wear mask and avoid coming out of the house unnecessarily, follow all the covid rules and shop owners should maintain proper distance
