Visakhapatnam, May 19: No matter how careful you are in a house with children, you cannot ignore even the smallest things. Because you never know when something can put children in danger. Four children have lost their lives in Andhra Pradesh due to a small negligence.

In a heartbreaking incident, four children, died of suffocation after accidentally getting stuck in a parked car in Dwarapudi village of Vijayanagaram rural mandal in Andhra Pradesh.

When the children did not return after a long time, parents searched the village and surrounding areas for more than three hours and found them trapped in the car.

Later, the children were taken out by breaking the windows of the car. They were immediately taken to the Government General Hospital (GGH) in Vijayanagar. The doctors who examined them said that the children died of suffocation.

The deceased children have been identified as Mangi Uday (8), Burle Charumati (8), Burle Charishma (6) and Kandi Manaswini (6). Charumati and Charishma are sisters and all four children belong to the same village.

According to sources, two days ago, an unknown person had parked his car near the Mahila Mandali office in Dwarapudi village. It is said that he had forgotten to lock the car. Meanwhile, the four children who were playing on Sunday got into the car and the car door was locked. It is learnt that the children died due to suffocation.

Meanwhile, on information from local residents, Vijayanagar Rural Police rushed to the spot and inspected the spot and started searching for the owner of the car.

The bodies have been sent to Vijayanagar GGH for post-mortem. Local MLA Aditi Vijayalakshmi visited the hospital and expressed her condolences to the families of the deceased children. She assured that the matter would be brought to the notice of the government and necessary assistance would be provided to the families of the deceased children.
