Mumbai, May 19: Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) suffered another blow in IPL 2025. Star opener Travis Head has tested positive for COVID-19. Due to this, he will be unavailable for the match against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) today (May 19). This was announced by SRH head coach Daniel Vettori at a press conference.

The league was suspended for a week in the middle of IPL 2025 due to tensions between India and Pakistan. During this time, many foreign cricketers returned to their respective countries. Australians were also among them. After the BCCI announced the resumption of the tournament, players like Mitchell Starc and Jake Fraser-Gurk were ruled out of the remaining matches, while Travis Head, Pat Cummins, Kagiso Rabada, and Tristan Stubbs decided to return to their respective teams.
