Belthangadi: Authorities have issued an order to deport Mahesh Shetty Timarodi of Ujire, who is accused in more than 32 criminal cases in the district, from the district in order to maintain law and order.
The Belthangady police had submitted the details of the cases registered against Timarodi to Puttur Assistant Commissioner Stella Varghese. After examining the report, the Assistant Commissioner issued the deportation order on September 18.
Accordingly, Mahesh Shetty Timarodi has been directed to live in Manvi taluk of Raichur district for a period of one year. A copy of the order has been reached by the DySP of Bantwal subdivision and the deportation process will be implemented soon.
