Mangalore: The 93rd Establishment Day of Bharath Beedi Works Pvt. Ltd., manufacturers of the famous 30 brand beedis, was observed at the company's head office in Kadri on Sunday.
Vasudeva Pai, Secretary of the organisation, welcomed the gathering. Director Anand G. Pai gave the introductory message and explained the journey of the organisation. Another director, Subraya M. Pai, said the concept of work from home was pioneered 93 years ago by the founder, Manjunath Pai. Directors Nagendra D. Pai, Venkatesha M. Pai, and International Business Relations Executive Abhishek N. Pai were present on the dais.
Officials of various banks and managers of the organisation were the chief guests. General Manager of Canara Bank Sudhakar Kottary, AGM of Union Bank Vishu Kumar, and ICICI Bank Zonal Manager Abhithab Dixit appreciated the performance of Bharat Beedi Group.
Director Sudhir M. Pi gave a vote of thanks. Company Auditor Sivananda Pai, senior officers Ramesh Shenoy, Ramesh Pai, renowned cardiologist Dr. Padmanabha Kamath, and others were present.
