Islamabad: A bomb blast on the railway tracks in Jacobabad in Pakistan's Sindh province has derailed the Jaffer Express.
Four coaches of the Jaffer Express passenger train, which was going from Punjab to Quetta, derailed. However, there was no information about any loss of life. Following the incident, local police, railway police and senior officials of the railway management department rushed to the spot to investigate the incident.
In March, Pakistan was hit by a deadly terrorist attack by the BLA on the Jaffer Express passenger train. In which hostages were taken in Balochistan, at least 30 innocent Pakistani nationals were killed.
On June 13, the Quetta-bound Jaffar Express from Peshawar derailed near the Margalla Tunnel in Taxila, disrupting rail traffic on the Rawalpindi-Peshawar section. No casualties were reported in the accident.
According to railway officials, the 40-kilometre Jaffar Express bound for Quetta derailed due to technical reasons, disrupting train traffic.
