Mangalore, July 20: Press conference was organised on 20th July, 2021 by Canara Lighting Represented by Ajeet Khare, Managing Director. 

Speaking in the press meet Ajeet Khare said "Canara Lighting installed the stage lighting system at 'Rudraksh' International Convention Centre, Varanasi. This convention centre has been gifted by Japanese Government and has  been built by them at a cost of Rs. 186 Cr. This convention centre is using Japanese designed  stage lighting system which includes lighting, machinery and drapery. 'Rudraksh' Convention  Centre uses the most advanced and Hi-Tech stage lighting system in the country. Canara  Lighting designed and manufactured the lighting system at their world class manufacturing  facility at Mangalore. Entire equipment was installed by highly skilled engineers from Canara  Lighting at Varanasi."

"The auditorium at this convention centre has a seating capacity of 1200 people. The stage  lighting uses environmentally friendly and power efficient LED lighting fixtures. The stage machinery has been designed with necessary safety features, manufactured and tested for  safety parameters before installation at site. The auditorium has a very special feature of  reducing seating capacity for smaller gatherings. The partition curtain system was also  designed, manufactured and installed by Canara Lighting. The entire lighting system including  the partition curtain can be operated remotely using sophisticated lighting controllers."

"'Rudraksh' Convention Centre was designed and constructed as per norms by the Japanese  architects and Construction Company. This convention centre is in the form of a Shiv Ling, as  the city of Varanasi is famous for its Kashi Vishwanath Mandir. There are 108 RUDRAKSHA  installed in the convention centre." 

"'Rudraksh' Convention Centre was inaugurated on 15th July 2021 by Prime Minister Narendra  Modi. The Prime Minister emphasized the importance of RUDRAKSH Convention Centre which will hold spiritual, religious and commercial conferences of national and international  importance. 'Rudraksh' will also help in preserving and presenting the rich culture of Varanasi.  Canara Lighting is privileged to be a part of 'Rudraksh' Convention Centre project at Varanasi."
