Mangalore:- As per the Dakshina Kannada district health bulletin, a total of 7,16,773 samples have been tested so far, out of which 6,75,489 have turned out to be negative. The total number of positive cases in the district stands at 41,284, out of which 3,975 are currently active. As many as 165 patients were discharged from hospitals on Sunday, taking the total number of recoveries to 36,561. The district recorded one death due to coronavirus on Sunday. The death toll in the district so far stands at 748.
Udupi:- As per the district health bulletin, as many as 4,88,711 samples have been tested so far. As many as 319 new cases were reported on Sunday, taking the total number of cases to 28,761, out of which 1,565 are currently active. A total of 245 patients were discharged from hospitals on Sunday, taking the total number of recoveries to 27,007.Coronavirus has claimed 194 lives in the district so far.
