Udupi: July 27 Monday, 2020 covid cases in Udupi continue to surge with the district recording 225 cases.
According to officials, the total case in the district stands at 3,613. Active cases were 1,415 which are undergoing treatment at hospitals and home isolation.
42 people with symptoms of influenza like illness, severe acute respiratory infection and are been admitted to isolation wards for observation. Total of 223 samples have been collected from suspected patients on Monday .28,150 districts has tested samples so far.
Dakshina Kannada: July 27 Monday, 2020 death of covid patients continued with district administration reporting 8 more deaths .The total deaths in the district have reached 131.
DK DC Sindhu B Roopesh said a 68 year man from Hubbali he was having the symptom of refractory highproxima ARDS and admitted to a private hospital on July 23 on the same day he died. His throat samples have conformed for covid. 119 new cases are reported on Monday
DC said among the new cases, 46 are primary contacts of already infected person, 34 are suffering from symptom and 6 with symptom of SARI .90 infected persons have recovered and were discharged from the hospital
