Dakshina Kannada on Monday July 27 recorded 119 fresh cases and eight deaths. Meanwhile, Udupi also reported yet another spike with 225 new cases.

Mangalore:- As per the district health bulletin ,930 are positive till date. Out of these, 2,502 cases are currently active. As many as 2,297 persons have recovered and been discharged, and 131 deaths have occurred so far, including eight on Monday.Among the 119 new cases are 46 primary contacts, 34 with influenza-like illness (ILI), and six with severe acute respiratory illness (SARI). As many as 33 cases are under investigation.As many as 80 patients were discharged on Monday from various hospitals.

Udupi:- As per the health bulletin released by the Udupi district administration, As many as 3,613 confirmed cases of coronavirus have been reported so far in the district, including 225 on Monday. As many as 2,184 patients have been discharged so far, and 1,415 cases are currently active. As per district bulletin, 14 deaths have occurred so far. One positive case has been transferred to Dakshina Kannada. As many as 51 people were discharged on Monday.
