Bantwal: Under the theme “Swift Hands – Safeguarding Little Lives,” a regional conference titled Pediacon-2025 is being organized by Father Muller College of Nursing, Thumbay on May 24, starting at 9:00 AM at the Florence Nightingale Auditorium of the college. This conference aims to enhance the skills of nurses in the area of child health and pediatric care, according to Rev. Fr. Richard Aloysius Coelho, Director of Father Muller Charitable Institutions, Mangaluru.
He was addressing a press conference after releasing the invitation for the event at Father Muller College of Nursing, Thumbay. The program will be graced by Dr. Lulu Sharif Mahmood, Head of Healthcare Simulation Education, who will participate as the Chief Guest. Various resource persons will deliver lectures to improve nursing professionalism in topics such as emergency pediatric care, newborn care, and more.
Sylvester Vincent Lobo, Administrator of Father Muller Hospital, Thumbay delivered the introductory remarks. Dr. Sr. Judy, Principal of the Nursing College, explained the objectives of the conference. Janet Sequeira from the organizing committee, Secretary Joyce Fernandes, and Media Coordinator Elias Fernandes were also present.
