Mohammed Nizamuddin, a software professional in California, was allegedly killed by the Santa Clara police on September 3. His father Mohammed Hasnuddin told news agency PTI that he came to know about this through his son's friend.
It is not known exactly what happened. There was a fight with his roommate over a trivial matter. He said that he was informed that he was shot dead by the police on Thursday morning.
Hasnuddin, who has written a letter to External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, has sought help in bringing his son's body to Mahbubnagar. He has sought urgent help from Indian authorities in Washington and San Francisco, saying he does not know the real reasons why the US police shot his son.
