Mollem, Goa: "शब्दुलीं " (Cultural Group) anniversary meet Riddle competition, Raymond Dcunha Taccode won 1st  prize in 'Ukhane' (उखाणो)Competition held at Goa Mollem biodiversity park.

October 2023, as Shabduli marked its fifth anniversary, the organizers orchestrated a literary gathering at the enchanting Mollem Biodiversity Park.

Programme was organized by Prasad G Pangam- Admin,  Sanjana S Shetgaonkar- Moderator of "शब्दुलीं" (Cultural Group). 

The event commenced at the stroke of 10 AM, with the park bathed in the gentle embrace of the morning sun. Inviting everyone with a warm welcome, Mridula Anil Shinde and Richa Eknath Khedekar gracefully took the reins, infusing the program with their charm.

The day began with a delightful breakfast Tea & samosas, a feast that warmed both hearts and bellies. As the morning progressed, photographers captured the essence of this serene start, and soon, the literary festivities unfurled amidst the lush greenery of the park.

This gathering was a celebration of the rich tapestry of literature, an exploration of the myriad facets of everyday life through the lens of literary expression.

The organizers had thoughtfully curated a variety of activities, ensuring a dynamic and engaging experience. A light-hearted competition of riddles brought laughter and excitement, with Raymond Dcunha from Mangalore winning the first prize amidst much applause.

As the day moved forward, attendees delved into the main literary sessions. It became evident that while some were eager to forge ahead swiftly, others preferred a more leisurely pace. To accommodate all, various activities were arranged along the way with careful consideration.

Lunchtime saw everyone coming together to share a hearty meal, which extended until 2:45 PM. The afternoon was marked by informal interactions and spirited discussions about literature among enthusiasts and experts alike, making the hours fly by swiftly and joyously.

At 3 PM, as planned, the much-anticipated ‘Poetry Reading’ session commenced. At the ‘Ukti Manchi’ the main stage of Mollem Biodiversity Park’s hosted this event right on time. The afternoon was filled with the rhythm and melody of poems, as voices from diverse backgrounds harmonized, echoing the timeless beauty of poetic expression amidst the serene surroundings of the park.

Sheetal Salgaonkar, Nayan Adarkar, Annie de Colvale, Shobha Fulkar, Neeti Kamat, Anagha Kamat, Saraswati Naik, Soniya Shah, Subhash Shah, Pushpa Nayak, Ana Ferreira, Succorinha Ferreira, Raymond Dcunha Taccode Mangalore, Avinash Kunkolkar, Neeta Kurtikar, Sunil Palkar, Suvedha Palkar, Anthony Vaz, Vivek  Pissurlekar, Namdev Surlikar, Neelba Khandekar, Ramnath Gawade participated in this anniversary meet.

Just as the poetry reading session was drawing to a close, the rain made its presence felt, as if to mark the end of the event. The rain seemed to join in the Shabduli. With everyone savouring the rain and enjoying the camaraderie, there was a sense of renewed hope and fresh ideas blossoming in the air. The warmth of hot cups of tea in their hands added to the cozy, reflective atmosphere. The literary gathering of the season was coming to a perfect close.

The organizers decided that it was time to conclude the event. The attendees, having soaked in the rich experience, bid farewell with content hearts, already looking forward to the next gathering.

In this Heaven of nature and literature, the literary gathering left an indelible mark on all who attended, a testament to the enduring power of words and the shared human experience they encapsulate.
