Indore: A horrific truck accident took place in Indore. The horrific scenes were captured on the truck camera and the surrounding CCTV cameras (Viral Video). The speeding truck hit several vehicles, including pedestrians and autorickshaws, on a busy road. The incident took place late on Monday night, killing three people. About nine people were seriously injured. A case has been registered in this regard and an investigation is underway, said Police Commissioner Santosh Kumar Singh.
The scene of the accident captured on the CCTV camera is about 30 seconds long. In it, at around 7.11 pm, the truck can be seen hitting an autorickshaw and other vehicles on a busy road. The truck, which lost control, hit the vehicles in front. The frightened pedestrians were also caught on camera moving to the side of the road.
The incident took place on Aerodrome Road in Indore. The accident caused a fire in the front of the truck, which trapped a bike and a car. The truck driver has been arrested in connection with the case. An investigation is underway. Two people died and about 11 were injured in the accident. Three to four of them suffered minor injuries. All of them will be discharged from the hospital after receiving primary treatment, said Police Commissioner Santosh Kumar Singh, who visited the hospitals.
The cause of the accident is being investigated. Singh said that he is also checking whether the injured are being given proper treatment. Indore Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargav visited the hospitals and inquired about the health of the injured.
Heavy commercial vehicles are not allowed on the busy road. The crowd protested and raised slogans against the police and the administration, questioning how the truck came even though there were traffic police personnel at the road junctions.
