It is well known that the Government of India has banned the use of Chinese-based mobile applications, including the popular video sharing app Tik Tok. Similarly, China-based Player Unknown Battleground (PUBG) has the reputation of being the most installed mobile game in the world.
Now its officially announced that Banning the use of 59 apps including Tik Tok
Tik Tok is one of the insane applications for the younger generation of India. But, the Pubg Game is still alive. The Government of India has not yet banned PUBG, Call of Duty. Available on Android, iOS. It can also be downloaded from Google Play Store.
However, Pubg was not originally a Chinese-made app, but a video game created by Brendan for the South Korean Bluehole Company, inspired by the Japanese cinema Battle Royale. Then Tencent Company of China invested in this popular game, publishing it everywhere.
Tencent's PUBG Mobile dominates not only India but also the US gaming market. Google Play India has given Pubg Mobile game as the Best Game of the Year for two years. Customers have downloaded Pubg more than once compared to Snapchat, YouTube, Netflix and Spotify.
As a result of the border conflict between India and China, India is in the process of banning many smartphone and mobile applications which are China based in the country. Many people in public sector are opting to delete theses apps volunteerly. On the other hand, the Department of Intelligence has issued a warning about the application usage of Chinese-based companies.
The most popular apps are Tik Tok, Zoom, Share It, UC Browser, Xander and Clean Master. The agency said it was likely that these apps would be filled with spyware and jeopardize the country's security. You can recall that the Home Ministry had issued a guideline on this when the zoom video conference app security issue was heard in April. As a guideline, Zoom app also released a new version that enhances security.
