Mangalore: The city police commissioner said that an Instagram page that had 01 lakh followers and was posting provocatively on social media has been deactivated.
In connection with the Suhas Shetty murder case that took place under the jurisdiction of Bajpe police station in Mangaluru city, posts were made on the Instagram page called beary_royal_nawab, which was used to incite hatred among people of different religions and classes of society, incite criminal acts, and incite hatred between one community and another. Sadri had 01 lakh followers on his Instagram page.
A total of 03 cases have been registered in Barke and Mulki police stations of Mangaluru city, and the investigation in the Sadri cases has been transferred to the Mangaluru city CEN police station.
Correspondence was sent to the concerned Law Enforcement Agency to provide information about the Sadri page, and accordingly, the concerned Law Enforcement Agency has banned the Instagram page named beary_royal_nawab from operating in India.
The investigation into the Sadri cases is being continued at the CEN Crime Police Station under the guidance of the Mangaluru City Police Commissioner Shri Anupam Agarwal IPS, Deputy Police Commissioner Shri Siddhartha Goyal IPS and Shri Ravi Shankar.
