Srinagar: Pakistan Army carried out its second drone attack on Jammu and Kashmir on Friday night. Pakistan made an unsuccessful attempt to attack Srinagar, Awantipora and Jammu airports.
Around 9 pm, the Pakistan Army carried out drone attacks on Jammu and Nagotra, targeting Jammu airport. The air defense system intercepted these drones and neutralized them, a security official said.
Red lines were seen in the Jammu region and the sound of explosions was heard in many places. Indian defense systems neutralized the kamikaze drones. This is the second consecutive day of drone attacks by Pakistan in the Jammu region.
As evening approached, sirens were sounded and a blackout was declared in the entire town. Shops were closed before dusk and people were instructed through loudspeakers to stay indoors and switch off the lights.
