Karnataka Bank has been honoured with special awards in the categories of ‘Cyber Security Team of the Year’ and ‘Cyber Security Transformation of the Year’. These accolades were presented by the Indian Banks’ Association (IBA) at the 4th CISO Conclave and Citation Ceremony, in recognition of the Bank’s significant efforts in enhancing cyber security and fostering customer trust in its digital platforms.

This marks the first time that IBA has introduced awards dedicated to cyber security. The jury panel comprised distinguished experts, including Dr. Sriram Birudavolu from the Data Security Council of India, Anil Bhandari, Advisor to NCIIPC, and Pravin Kumar, Chief Market Information Security Officer and DPO at NPCI.

The award was received by the General Manager and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) of Karnataka Bank at the ceremony held yesterday in Mumbai.

This recognition is a testament to Karnataka Bank’s commitment as an early adopter of cutting-edge cyber security measures aimed at protecting its information systems from cyber threats and safeguarding customer trust.
