Kasaragod,June. 02: A taxi driver from Kasaragod was shot dead in the early hours of Sunday in Bisha, Asir province, Saudi Arabia. The deceased has been identified as 41-year-old Bashir. He was working as a taxi driver.
Bashir had been working in Saudi Arabia for the past 13 years. He had earlier arrived in Saudi Arabia on a house driver visa. Bashir, who worked as a driver in the Bisha area, was reportedly attacked while he was cleaning his taxi near his residence.
The shooting took place around midnight on Sunday on a road about 35 kilometers from Bisha. The attackers fired shots and fled the scene.
