Belgaum, June 2: Three workers died on the spot after a tanker collided with a tipper on the national highway this afternoon. The deceased have been identified as Ramachandra, Mahesh, and Ramanna.
An accident occurred between a tanker and a tipper near Itagi Cross on the highway, killing three people. Bhimabai and Lakshmibai Anushree were injured and have been admitted to the hospital for treatment.
Immediately after receiving the news, the Kittur police station visited the scene and inspected it. The driver was in a serious condition as the vehicle rolled off the highway onto the service road during the accident and was admitted to a local hospital for treatment. Police said that all the deceased and the injured are from Kalaburagi district.
