Mangaluru: Catholic Sabha Bajal Unit is set to host an exciting Kudla Carnival- Carnival Creation a Drawing competition for children on 15th December 2024 at the St. Agnes Special School Ground, Mangaluru. The competition will provide a platform for young artists to showcase their creativity and win exciting prizes in a vibrant, carnival-themed event.

Categories and Themes

The competition is open to children in three age categories, each with a unique theme. Participants will be judged based on their originality, creativity, and execution of the given theme. The categories and corresponding themes are as follows:

1. Category 1 (Ages 4 to 6): "A World of Colours at the Carnival"  

   - Materials: Crayons

2. Category 2 (Ages 7 to 10): "The Clown at the Carnival"* 

   - Materials: Colour Pencils

3. Category 3 (Ages 11 to 15): "Design Your Dream Carnival Mask" 

   - Materials: Watercolors


Rules and Regulations:

1.    The competition is open to all children in the mentioned categories.

2.    Participants must arrive on time for registration.

3.    Each participant must bring their own drawing materials (crayons, colours, pencils, etc.) and papers sheets will be provided.

4.    Participants are not allowed to bring any printed or pre-drawn materials.

5.    All artwork must be original and done during the competition time.

6.    Plagiarism or copying other artists’ works will lead to disqualification.

7.    Judges’ decisions will be final and binding.

8.    In each category three prizes will be awarded .

9.    No spot entries

10.  You may send your entries only through this Google form.

11.  In each category first 50 entries will be considered.

12.  The announcement of the prizes will be done on the same day at 6.00 p.m.

13.   Last date to register 8 December 2024 .


Registration Details

To secure a spot in the competition, parents must complete the registration process by 8th December 2024. The first 50 entries in each category will be accepted, and no spot entries will be allowed on the day of the event.

This art competition promises to be a wonderful opportunity for young artists in Mangaluru to express their creativity while participating in the festive spirit of the Kudla Carnival. Parents and participants are encouraged to register early to avoid disappointment and be part of this exciting event.
