Mumbai: The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) has set a new Guinness World Record by writing the largest sentence using cricket balls at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

The words “Fifty Years of Wankhede Stadium” were written using 14,505 red and white cricket balls.

This achievement was part of the celebrations marking the 50th anniversary of the historic Wankhede Stadium.

The stadium has been the home of many great Indian cricketers and is where the Indian cricket team won its second 50-over World Cup in 2011. “We are thrilled to announce that the Mumbai Cricket Association has set a Guinness World Record by writing the sentence ‘Fifty Years of Wankhede Stadium’ in English at the Wankhede Stadium using 14,505 red and white cricket balls,” said MCA President Ajinkya Naik.
