Mangalore: University College Mangaluru, Hampankatta, affiliated to Mangalore University will celebrate 116th College Day on March 16 (Monday) and 17 (Tuesday). Renowned Yakshagana Artist Jabbar Samo Sampaje be the chief guest for the Talents Day on March 16, at 9.30 am. Principal Dr. Uday Kumar M A will preside over the function. Cultural extravaganza will follow the stage programme.
College Day will be held on March 17 at 9.30 am. Mangalore City Corporation Mayor Diwakar Pandeshwar will be the chief guest. Shri Gokarnanatheshwara College Principal Dr. Renuka K will speak about sweet memories of student life. Mangalore University Registrar Prof. A M Khan will preside over the function. Cultural programmes and prize distribution will follow the stage function, said the press release.
