Mangalore: The Annual day of ST. joseph vaz was celebrated with utmost devotion on Dec 1st .
The bishop of Mangalore Peter Paul Saldhanawas given anhearty welcome. Modhem candles were distributed to all the donersand the donors and the Parish PastrollCouncil with regard to their service rendered for last three years.
The Holy Euchristwas celebrated, he also explained about the advent of the season, and the missionary of St. Joseph vaz.
Vice president Rohan D'Souza Parish Pastoral Marcel D'Souza, Fr. JB. Saldhana the dean of St. Joseph Vaz deanery and guest priest were also present Fr. Vijay Machado, director, MangalaJyothi, animated the liturgy of the feast. All pilgrims enjoyed the prayerful atmosphere. Meals were provided, around d 3,500 pilgrims participated in this solemn celebration.
