Mangalore: An Endowment Lecture was organized by IQAC and Department of Hospitality Science, Milagres College in collaboration with Baretto Stany Education Trust (R)on February 28, 2022. The program was inaugurated by the dignitaries lighting the lamp.
The sponsor of this endowment lecture Stany Baretto, stressed on the importance of the topic selected for the lecture and how these would help in the holistic development of the students.
The first session was taken by Chef Pius D’Souza, Executive Chef, Summer Sands Beach Resort, who spoke on the topic Mindfulness in the Hospitality Industry and the second session was taken by Deepak Pradeep, Food & Beverage Manager, Avatar Hotel who spoke on the Restaurant Etiquette that has to be followed in the hotel industry.
Principal Fr Michael Santhumayor welcomed the gathering. Allete Santmayer, Faculty and Coordinator of the event and Akhil E.T, HOD of Hospitality Science were present on the dais. Student representative Monica Mascarenhas compered the programme.
