Mangalore: "Live as if you were to die tomorrow, learn as if you were to live forever", the celebration of Gandhi Jayanti holds special significance as it commemorates the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, the father of the nation. To honor his life and teachings, St Agnes PU college organized a special program with great enthusiasm and reverence. The event aimed to remind everyone of Gandhiji's timeless values of truth, non-violence, simplicity and peace.

On this occasion, Dieya welcomed the gathering. Bhamathee and team presented soulful bhajans to commemorate this day. A floral tribute was offered by the Principal, Vice Principal, the teachers and the students. Roopashree inspired everyone with a thought provoking speech on the significance of this day. A dance, depicting the life of the Mahatma was beautifully portrayed by Dieya and Prithvi. The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Anagha. The celebration captured the essence of Gandhiji's philosophy and values, making it a memorable experience. A Cleanliness Drive was also organised in honour of Gandhi Jayanthi by the cleanliness committee of the college. Staff and students actively participated in this drive.
