Mangaluru September 10: The Pre-University Education Board of Dakshina Kannada District and Shakthi PU College, Shakthinagara, Mangaluru jointly organized a Taluk level Kabaddi tournament for the PU College boys and girls of MangaluruTaluk at Shakthi PU College, Mangaluru on Wednesday.
The Director of Shakthi Education Trust, Shakthinagara, Mangaluru Dr. K.C. Naik presided over the prize distribution ceremony and gave away the prizes to the winners.
The Chief Advisor of Shakthi Group of Institutions Ramesh K, the Principal of Shakthi PU College Pruthviraj and the Principal of Shakthi Residential School Vidya Kamath G were present at the event.
The boys' Kabaddi team of Shakthi PU College bagged the Championship of the Mangaluru Taluk level Kabaddi tournament and Canara PU College secured the Runner-up in the same. In girls' section Government PU College Kavoor won the Championship and St. Raymond's PU College, Vamanjooru secured the Runner-up.
The Sanskrit Lecturer of Shakthi PU College Ravishankar Hegade compered the programme.
